This is just a quick note to say the whole Personal Touch team did us proud on my father’s funeral day. When we first saw the horse and carriage with the matching purple plumes and all the way that all the flowers were displayed, we were truly humbled and proud. The hall was decorated beautifully, and the food was very good.
Recently we had the unfortunate circumstance of burying our younger brother. I was so proud of the way that all was handled by my sister, the organisation, the getting hold of friends and the beautiful dignified funeral service that was put together for him. My brother had a very beautiful send off.
To Pauline and staff, Thank you all for everything you achieved in bringing about a funeral for which my Mother would have been proud of Despite having to deal with such a dysfunctional inactive lot. You were professional from the start to finish bending over backwards to accommodate each and every demand made. It was because of your experience that this was made possible to such a successful end. This made such a painful experience for me so much more bearable.

When my mum passed away at home we were so clueless about what to do next and we didn’t have a funeral home in place. I remembered the name of personal touch as my neighbour had used them. My sister-in-law rang up a few othersbut Pauline was so helpful from the get go it was a no brainer to go with them. She was very accommodating too as it was late and out of hours. We have never planned or been involved in a funeral before and we were all very overwhelmed and anxious about it until we met with Pauline. She made the whole process so much easier and we left there very content having made the right choices and decisions with her help to give our mum a beautiful send off. Pauline and her staff were ALWAYS available for any questions we had. Pauline was always a phone call away and kept in touch regularly and even after the funeral itself. It was very important for us to have the funeral asap as my aunt was over and flying back soon. Thanks to Pauline and her team they were able to make it all happen in time securing dates and locations. This meant the world to my aunt. My aunt even said Pauline made her feel like family/friend 🙂
The funeral day went all as planned and my mum had the send off she deserved. Everything was so beautiful and elegant, the invitations, the mass booklets, the flowers, the coffin itself. The funeral director and drivers were the absolute BEST! So professional and kind and made us feel at ease that they had it all under control and helped and advised throughout. Pauline Miller and her team were very personal as they helped us plan the funeral and touched our hearts as they fulfilled everything they said they would do for the funeral service of our beloved mother, granny and great grandmother, Doris Lawrence-Downer. Our family will always remember 13th December 2021 as the day when Personal Touch Funeral Services gave us unlimited services for our day. The staff were very cordial, considerate and caring. The drivers of the funeral cars were patient and courteous, and the reception decorating and catering that they delivered for us was just exquisite;. The food was delicious and more than enough to feed all our guests.it made us very proud to see a black owned company run so well.
